Social media is an important tool to communicate with your target audience and  can be a powerful platform, as it can effectively shape public opinion of an individual or group of people. The vast majority of us are now active on a multitude of social networks and outlets, whether they are used to catch up with old friends, to post photos of your daily encounters, or to stay up-to-date on breaking news. For celebrities however, there's so much more that goes into how they use and leverage their social media accounts. Celebrities are up on a three dimensional view for everyone to see, both making their impact much broader and their missteps far more consequential. In a PR perspective I think that social media has a downfall for celebrities other than any mechanism of communication, for example pitching for an interview you prepare for it whether on radio or television. However in social media there is no time to prepare yourself how to response to some cases, celebrities are brand name that represent what they say and do. Most of celebrities have lost their brand image through social media for example the battle between EUPHONIK & NTSIKI MAZWAI AT WAR WITH EACH OTHER. In this case great example of how celebrities receive bad publicists and brand managers can help with account management; the celebrities themselves must make an effort to maintain the connection with fans. What can you say from the following tweets?

It all started with the rumours/news that Euphonik beat up ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba. Singer Ntsiki Mazwai has since then been acting as a heroine for the 'abused' girls, and has voiced out her opinions, some saying that 5FM should suspend or expel the house music DJ Euphonik. Hmmmm... ja neh.

So since then, Euphonik and Ntsiki have been at war with each other, using their Twitter accounts to exchange opinions. But today was just so bad. The Twitter war (called the Twar) had a huge audience as the two entertainers gave a good show. At one time, Ntsiki tweeted:

"@euphonik if u hav smthing to say to me... call me :-) let's talk... but no fists..." of course, making a little reference to the domestic violence charge that Euphonik is up against.

Then there was rumour that Ntsiki doesn't shower or take a bath?? Like... how the hell did one come to that conclusion and who the hell did? This led to the Euphonik tweet:

"...i will speak my mind. Anyway its a new day I hope we've all taken a bath". Hhe batho!!

Mi Casa is a band with unique individuals who bring their explosive talent together to create a unique and original sound. The brand of Mica Casa as a band is growing global. What is funny and interesting about this band is how J-something rock the stage using Zulu language though is white, the important part here is that the band accommodate everyone. J-Something is a talented songwriter, vocalist and masters the guitar.  His zest for life and music breaths energy into the band. Mi Casa was born when the three individuals “free styled” an unrehearsed piece together and blew the crowd away. Their music bringing change and people closer
They are SoulCandi’s latest signing, currently working on their album and will definitely blow South Africa away with their Soulful Jazzy sound. Mi Casa is one of the most exciting new live acts I have seen in all my time in this industry of music, their talent, personalities, hard work and determination are a perfect recipe for success. Mia Casa have recently completed a tour with international acts. The Layabouts and ReelPeople. It was the  Hennessy Remixed by SoulCandi Touring six cities (East London, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Soweto). The tour opens doors for Micasa for its brand as Kia South Africa announced through their Facebook Page that Mi casa is now their newest endorsement. My question is why most companies provide endorsement to celebrities that they do not utilise?
